We love our job of
caring for your furry kids. Not only do we spend
the day with sloppy kisses and muddy paws but we also
have a more flexible schedule that allows us to
volunteer for Bullseye Dog Rescue. This
was sent to us a few weeks ago and we just had to
share!
I
just wanted to take moment and thank Gretchen & Jen
from Muddy Paws. I nearly forgot to make arrangements
for my kitty over Christmas, but they came through for
me in the nick of time, and made sure I had nothing to
worry about. Even with ice & snow, they made sure my
cat had food & water, even brought my paper in, and
made sure lights were turned off & on. They even
mastered my Slimcat, a fancy ball that dispenses cat
food, so she could play with her food! My cat is fairly
evil, notorious for chasing people away, but they did
great!She
also tends to pull her hair out when stressed and she's
as fuzzy as the day I left! I won't hesitate to call
Muddy Paws again, for any pet-sitting needs. Thank you
for allowing me a worry-free holiday knowing that my
KitLee was home safe and as happy as a demon-kitty can
be!

I have quite the crew, they're sometimes too much for
even me ! It's been hard for me to take time away to
visit family or just get away for "mom" time.
You see I have 4 dogs (all rescues), Angis- 11yr. old
Rottie, Bentley-6 yr. old Chihuahua, Beauregard-3 yr.
old Pittie and Chessie- 12+ Beagle (has issues) of my
own and usually have 1 or 2 foster dogs. Add in 4 cats
(rescues, indoor), 3 indoor Finches (rescues) w/a
flight cage to clean, 2 horses rescues), H.B. - 29 yr.
old TB who is blind and has special needs and Belle -
45+ yr. old Welsh pony who also has special needs. Add to
the mix the location where I live, where I was honored
this past summer/fall to have a Momma bear and her
TRIPLET cubs around for over 6 weeks while they dined on
all the fruit. Now can you see why it's hard for me to
get away ? In Oct. of "08", I hired Muddy Paws
Pet Sitting ( after a thorough vetting) to stay in the
house while I went for a visit to Texas. We were in
touch via e-mail throughout my being away. I admit I was
a bit anxious as I'd never used them before, but I came
home to happy animals and everything in good
order, which made me a VERY happy animal mom ! Muddy
Paws even took me to and picked me up from the airport !
It should go without saying that I'll be using them in
the future and feel very comfortable recommending
them to anyone who's looking for a reliable pet
sitter.

Vacation? What is a vacation? My family
had not had a worry free vacation in over 5 years
because of the complexities of running a 14 (yes I
said 14) animal household. Even when I
could find a house sitter for that many animals, I was
never completely confident that they could care for my
cadre in a safe manner, so as a result we just never
went anywhere. Having Gretchen pet sit our
animals on several occasions not only provided me with
a cost efficient way to provide care for all my
animals, but also gave me an actual break without
worry. The care for my animals was top notch and
the stress free vacation I had was, well-PRICELESS!
